Youths forces to clean beach after causing pollution

The north Cyprus Environmental Protection Department on Tuesday forced some young individuals to clean up a beach after creating a mess at the beach.

The Environmental Protection Department, affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the Deputy Prime Ministry, took action after a report was published on a news site on April 16, 2025, regarding young people randomly throwing bottles at Yedidalga Beach.

Following the news titled "Shocking Incident at Yedidalga Beach", the Police and Environmental Protection Department officials worked in cooperation with the police to reach the people who committed the crime.

As a result of consultation, the pollution they created on Yedidalga Beach was cleaned up under the supervision of the Environmental Protection Department personnel.
