Water supply in Famagusta to be cut for 3 days due to fault

Water supply in Famagusta will be interrupted for three days due to a fault in the main water line between Famagusta and Iskele.

 

According to the announcement, due to a malfunction in the main water pipeline between Mağusa and İskele, which supplies water to the city from Geçitköy, water will not be provided to Mağusa for 3 days.

The Gazimağusa Municipality has urged residents to use water sparingly during the repair period to avoid inconvenience.

In a statement from the municipality, it was also noted that teams from the Department of Water Affairs under the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources are continuing their efforts to fix the issue and restore water supply as soon as possible.
