Two dead in fatal minibus collision on Kyrenia-- Değirmenlik high way

At least two people were dead and nine others injured following a fatal collision between a minibus and a vehicle near near Arapköy on the Kyrenia- Değirmenlik high way on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the crash occurred around 14:00 when a minibus carrying people with mobility issues collided with a rental vehicle, Yeni Duzen reported.

Emergency services transported the injured to Dr Akçiçek Hospital in Girne, where they remain under medical care.

Investigations into the cause of the collision are ongoing.

No further details about the victims or the circumstances of the crash have been released.
