Moment two thieves tried to break into a house in north Cyprus caught on camera

The moment two burglars broke into a house through the kitchen at midnight in Lefkosa was captured on a security camera.

The incident happened at midnight in Lefkoşa, when two burglars broke into a house through the kitchen. The intruders fled the scene after waking the homeowners.

Expressing his frustration and concern, the homeowner, Ceren Özkalkanlı, shared the footage on social media saying: “We became victims of one of last night’s burglaries. Two thieves entered our house easily through the kitchen window. Thankfully, they didn’t harm my grandmother — they even entered her room while she was sleeping, but when she woke up and called out to me, they fled through the glass door in the living room. We were lucky this time… My dear grandmother is unharmed.

We live on one of the busiest roads in Lefkoşa, surrounded by businesses and their cameras, yet multiple homes and cars were damaged in a single night — this says a lot. It’s not about material things. What if my grandmother had come face-to-face with them? What if fear triggered a heart attack? What if these fearless people had physically harmed her?!”
