Driver fined over 4,000 Turkish Lira for driving on the wrong lane at the Hamitköy Roundabout

A driver who entered the wrong lane at the Hamitköy Roundabout was fined and given 15 penalty points.

The police took action after the incident was shared on social media.

According to information from the police, traffic teams from the Lefkosia Police Department took action after footage of a driver entering the wrong lane at the Hamitköy Roundabout on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard in Lefkosia appeared on social media.

The driver, who made traffic difficult by not complying with traffic signs and signals, was fined 4,346.90 TL and given 15 penalty points by the Lefkosia Traffic Teams.
