Driver and passenger fined for dangerous driving in Kyrenia

A driver and his passenger were fined by the police for dangerous driving in Kyrenia

A driver and a passenger who was traveling in a vehicle on Raif Denktaş Street in Girne were fined a combined 11,000 Turkish Lira by the police due to the passenger putting his body out of the rear window of the vehicle other than the regular seats in a way that endangered human life.

According to the information given by the Police Press Office, the incident took place in Kyrenia the night of Wednesday April 2.

After images of the incident, were shared on social media, the Traffic Teams affiliated to the Kyrenia Police Department took action and quickly identified the driver and passenger of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was given a fine of 6,520.35 TL and 10 penalty points, and the passenger was given a fine of 4,346.90 TL, and legal action was taken against them.
