Explaining in court, the police said that on March 9, at around 7:00 pm, a police team from the Crime Prevention Branch of the Lefkosia Police Department spotted a package left in a vehicle, which was parked opposite the Molto Gas Station operating on Gazeteci Hasan Tahsin Street in Lefkosa, and was driven by TP, a resident of Southern Cyprus, and GK as a passenger.

The police said that a suspicious package containing narcotics was found in a plastic bag right next to the vehicle and taken as evidence, and that the suspects were arrested and an investigation was launched.
