TRNC authorities increase price of driving license

The TRNC authorities has increased the price of obtaining a drivers license.

According to the revised driving licenses prices, those who wish to obtain a 10-year license will have to pay 5,000 TL.

The "Regulation on the Reassessment of Motor Vehicle Registration and License Fees, as well as Driving License Fees" was published in the Official Gazette on Tuesday March 18 and has officially come into effect.

Here are the updated driving license fees:

• Student license exam: 1,500 TL
• Student license: 1,499 TL 90 kuruş
• 2-year license: 1,499 TL 80 kuruş
• 3-year license: 1,999 TL 70 kuruş
• 5-year license: 2,999 TL 50 kuruş
• 10-year license: 4,999 TL

These revised fees are now in effect.
