Hamas releases video of two Israeli hostages pleading for freedom
The armed wing of Hamas today released a video featuring two Israeli hostages who were abducted in the October 7th attack, almost one and a half years ago.
The video lasts just over three minutes, but the date of the recording cannot be verified.
The two men are shown sitting and speaking in Hebrew to one of the hostages who has already been released, asking him to talk about his experiences in captivity to expedite their own release.
The French Press Agency said that the two hostages are Elkana Bohbot and Yossef-Haim Ohana.
Both were abducted while at the Nova music festival, on the day of the deadly attack by Hamas militants in southern Israel.

The two men speak talk about the dangers they face following the resumption of Israeli raids in the Gaza Strip last Tuesday.
Israeli media reported their names without broadcasting the video, which was nevertheless considered “proof that the two men are alive.”
Israel resumed heavy airstrikes on the Palestinian enclave last week before returning ground troops to areas that were evacuated during the two-month ceasefire that began on January 19.
During the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, 251 hostages were abducted from Israel and taken to the Gaza Strip. Of these, 58 remain in captivity, of whom at least 34 have been declared dead by the Israeli army.
