Four intoxicated students assaults officers who tried to caution them for causing public disturbance

Four intoxicated individuals on a street in Lefkosa, north Cyprus were arrested by the police who intervened for disturbing the public. The individuals assaulted the officers who tired to caution them.

The incident occurred at around 5:50 PM on Sunday night on Cemal Gürsel Street in Lefkosa when four intoxicated individuals resisted police intervention for disturbing the public by pushing and pulling the officers, assaulting them.

The individuals, identified as R.S.A.A. (26), N.C.S.G. (28), S.R.F.W. (42), and R.P.V. (35), all foreign students in north Cyprus were tested for alcohol, and it was determined that their alcohol levels were 172, 147, 218, and 244 milligrams, respectively.

The intoxicated individuals, who were shouting loudly and disturbing the surroundings, resisted the police's attempt to intervene. R.S.A.A. punched a police officer who was attempting to arrest him, while the other three individuals pushed and pulled the officers in an attempt to free their friend.

After the incident, all four individuals were arrested, and the police announced that the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
