Driver fined 15,000 TL in Kyrenia for carrying passenger in a dangerous manner
A driver in Kyrenia north Cyprus was fined and received 20 penalty points for carrying a passenger in a way that endangered human life, with the passenger sticking his body out of the rear window of the vehicle.
According to a police statement, the incident occurred on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard, where images showing a driver transporting a passenger dangerously were shared on social media. Following the posts, police teams took action.
The driver of the vehicle was identified by traffic teams affiliated with the Kyrenia Police Department. The driver was fined a total of 15,214.15 TL and received 20 penalty points for carrying a passenger outside of the fixed seats in the vehicle and for other document deficiencies.
The police investigation is ongoing.
