3-day Ramadan holiday begins on Sunday

The three-day Ramadan Bayram holiday begins on Sunday March 30 bringing an end to a month of fasting.

Muslims in the TRNC and other parts of the Islamic world broke their fasts for the last time this evening.

The three day Ramadan holiday will be celebrated on Sunday and will come to an end on Tuesday.

Both the police and the municipality have announced that they have taken all the necessary precautionary measures to ensure that the public has a safe holiday.

Meanwhile the Meteorology Department has given an outlook on what the weather will be like during the three day bayram holiday.

According to their predictions, rain is expected on the first and third day of the holiday.

Temperatures will be around 23 degrees Celsius.
