Stray dog attacks man Güzelyurt, north Cyprus

A stray dog abandoned on a street in Güzelyurt attacked a local shopkeeper on Monday.

The incident happened in Güzelyurt Bazaar on Monday when a stray dog attacked a shopkeeper named Tansay Doğu.

Citizens quickly intervened and rescued Tansay Doğu from the dog while he struggled to pull the dog away.

Tansay Doğu who was injured in the attack, was taken to the hospital with the help of other local shopkeepers.

Residents called on the municipality to take action, emphasizing the need to control stray dogs and prevent such incidents in the future.
