Man arrested for shouting and swearing at police officers in north Cyprus

Police in north Cyprus arrested an individual for reportedly yelling and swearing at police officers who stopped his vehicle for checks.

According to police statement on the matter, the incident happened at around 1.30 am on Thursday Feb. 20 on İskenderun Street during traffic checks.

Police stated that an individual named only as MS, 35, who was under the influence of alcohol, scratched the face of the police officer on duty and kicked him in the chest while he was being arrested and placed in the police vehicle.
