January inflation in northern Cyprus announced as 2.02 percent
The cost of living and inflation in northern Cyprus for the month of January has been as 2.02 percent, according to the Statistics Institute.
According to the General Index of Consumer Prices, prices increased by 2.02 percent compared to the previous month and by 50.61 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Among the main expenditure groups, the highest price increase in January compared to the previous month was recorded in the communication group with 11.52 percent.
Clothing and footwear group decreased by 0.86 percent.
