Five injured in accident on the old Güzelyurt-Lefke main road

Five people were injured in an accident on the old Güzelyurt-Lefke main road when a bus veered to the right side of the road and collided with a vehicle belonging to the Electricity Authority.

The accident happened at around 6:10 pm on Monday on the old Güzelyurt-Lefke main road when a bus driven by on MS heading towards Lefke from Güzelyurt, lost control due to inattention and crossed into the right lane. The bus then collided with a work vehicle belonging to Kib Tek.

The five injured individuals were taken to Lefkosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where they are still receiving treatment. 

Police are continuing their investigation into the accident and working to identify the injured individuals.
