Three injured in accident on the Lefkosia-Guzelyurt main road

Three people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Lefkosia-Guzelyurt main road on Saturday evening. 

The accident happened at around 6:00pm  this evening on the Lefkosia-Guzelyurt main road when Burak T, 36 who was driving towards Lefkosa lost control of the vehicle near the Türkeli junction. 

The car hit the concrete barrier dividing the median strip. As a result of the impact, the vehicle was uncontrollably thrown off course, exited the road on the left side, collided with an earthen embankment, and overturned, finally landing on its wheels.

The driver, along with passengers Nafiye Torun, 41 (female) and Miray Torun, 4 (female), were injured in the accident and taken to :Lefkosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment.
