Thieves ties 59-year-old woman to a chair in Kyrenia: Rob her of $28,000
An unidentified person or persons broke into the home of a 59-year-old woman in Kyrenia, tied her to a chair in her bedroom, and stole $28,000 and several items from her.
The suspect identified as S.Ş was arrested as a result of investigation launched regarding the incident.
According to information provided by the Police Press Office, the incident happened at around 8:00 PM on December 30, when unidentified person(s) entered the apartment where the victim X.H., 59)was residing in Kyrenia. They took her to the bedroom and tied her hands and feet to a chair.
Police said $28,000 in cash, jewelries, two mobile phones, car keys, identification cards, a passport, and a hookah set were stolen from the home of the 59-year-old woman.
Following an investigation, the police arrested one S.Ş., 31 as a suspect in the case. The investigation is ongoing.
