Kyrenia municipality launches free golf buggy transport service

A free golf buggy transport service has been launched in Kyrenia to take people between the old town hall and the old harbour.

The launched was announced by the town’s Turkish Cypriot municipality on Thursday.

The service will be offered free of charge, with the municipality launching it under the slogan “Because we are Kyrenia together”.

The municipality added that the service will “ensure a more comfortable access for visitors to the old harbour”, and that the golf buggies will depart at “regular intervals”.

It also said the service will “provide great convenience for visitors who park their vehicles at the Baldoken car park”, who up until now have had to walk down a flight of stairs to access the old harbour.
