Kıb-Tek's changes service and deposit fees

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) is making changes to its service fees and deposit charges, with the new fees taking effect starting tomorrow February 1.

Accordingly, while no fee will be charged for the first installation inspection, the fee for the second and subsequent inspections, as well as meter inspections, has increased from 3,235 TL to 3,478 TL. The fee for reconnecting power that was cut off due to non-payment or consumer fault has risen from 404 TL to 434 TL.

For insurance replacements conducted at buildings or locations within 0-4 kilometers of the institution's service center, the fee has increased from 1,213 TL to 1,304 TL. For locations more than 4 kilometers away, the fee has risen from 2,021 TL to 2,173 TL.

The deposit fee for residential tariffs has also increased, from 8,087 TL to 8,693 TL.
