A person arrested in Lefkosia for possession of drugs

During a search conducted by the Police Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate at a residence in Lefkosa, a substance believed to be drugs was detected, and one person was arrested.

According to the police press statement, a search was conducted at the residence of one C.S.A. (M-21) at around 11:00 a.m. on Monday January 13.

During the searches, approximately 36 grams of a substance believed to be cannabis, a precision scale and grinder believed to have drug residue on them, and 7,500 TL in cash believed to have been obtained from drug sales were found in the possession of the individual.

The person in question was arrested, and it was stated that the investigation is ongoing.
