28 people arrested for living in north Cyprus illegally

28 people were identified and arrested by police in north Cyprus on
Tuesday night for living in the country without a resident permit.
According to the information provided by the police press office, on January 21, 2025, police teams identified a total of 28 people living without a residence permit during the inspections they carried out across the country.
While the necessary legal procedures have been initiated against those who were determined to have no legal status, it was reported that the investigation is ongoing.
