20-year-old man seriously injured after falling from apartment balcony

In the incident that took place in Haspolat, an individual was seriously injured after falling from the balcony area on the second floor of the lodge.

According to information provided by the Police Press Office, the incident happened at around 12:30 am on January 29, 2025 when a 20-year-old named MD Sıfat Ahmed fell approximately 6.40 meters to the ground while on the balcony of the second floor of the lodging belonging to his workplace located in Haspolat.

Following the incident, the young man was transported by ambulance to Lefkosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital. After initial treatment, he was transferred to Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital and placed under observation in the intensive care unit. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
