74-year-old Turkish Cypriot woman negative for Corona Virus

A 74-year-old Turkish Cypriot woman who was quarantined at the Lefkosa State Hospital on Saturday for fear of Corona Virus after she was diagnosed of pneumonia has been declared negative for the virus.

The patient who returned from Dubai last week after a tour in the east applied to the Famagusta State Hospital on Saturday with complaint for high fever.

She was transferred to Lefkosa and kept under quarantine for precautionary purpose and monitored for the virus.

Test result on Sunday which was carried out in Ankara, Turkey showed that she was negative for the virus.
