Boy rapes girlfriend who visited him in his apartment in Lefkosa

A man who allegedly raped his girlfriend when she visited him in his apartment in Lefkosa has been sent to jail for three days until trial.

The accused only identified as S.Y reportedly committed the crime on Saturday and was taken to a court in Lefkosa on Sunday.

According to report, the girl friend of the accused visited him on the fateful day with her consent but she was raped by the accused without her consent.

Police investigation revealed that the accused an illegal resident in the country.

He was given a three day detention order for investigation to be carried out.
