Deadly collision on Serdarlı-Geçitkale Highway: 2 injured
Two people were injured in a collision between two vehicles, a mini truck and a commercial bus on the Serdarlı-Geçitkale Highway, near Lefkosa on Tuesday evening.
The incident happened at about 6:30pm on Tuesday on the first kilometer of the Serdarlı - Geçitkale Highway when one of the vehicle involved crossed the other lane.
One of the vehicle driven by a 75-year-old man heading towards the Serdarlı direction of the road carelessly crossed onto the other lane resulting in a collision with another vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
Both drivers of the vehicles were injured in the accident and taken to a hospital in Lefkosa for treatment.
