Inflation continues to rise in TRNC

The monthly inflation rate in North Cyprus is half of that of Turkey, the State Planning Organisation has reported. 

Inflation increased by 0.47% in May compared to April. Inflation increased by 6.22% compared to December 2018 and by 26.75% compared to May 2018.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Turkey had seen an annual increase of 18.71% in consumer prices in May. Prices in Turkey had risen by 0.95% on a monthly basis.
