Robert De Niro I'd like to 'punch Donald Trump in the face'

Hollywood icon Robert De Niro has expressed his desire to punch the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump in the eye.

Speaking in a video aired on Fox News' The Kelly File, De Niro told viewers that he'd "like to punch him in the face".

De Niro made the comments in a video produced by Anonymous Content, which has been making a series of short interviews for a voter initiative called #VoteYourFuture.

The director of the video, Tom McCarthy, asked him De Niro "What do you care about?"

De Niro's anti-Trump comments were so assertive that it didn't make the final cut of "Get Out The Vote" ad campaign, which is non-partisan.

The video which was released to the media on Friday was given to Megyn Kelly's show for airing and publicists for the production firm released it to the media on Friday.

De Niro also calls Trump almost every name he could lay his mind on like "blatantly stupid," "a punk," a "bulls*** artist" a "pig," a "con," a "bozo" and an "embarrassment to this country."

"He talks how he'd like to punch people in the face?" De Niro said. "Well, I'd like to punch him in the face."
